Hey,

On July 29th our 'something different' segment features a video I grabbed from youtube. Should you guys want to check out the video directly you can find it here:

I'm big fan of videogame music and the retro style music from the 80s does have a certain charm about it. The device this guy has made, dubbed the Chipophone, is really quite awesome.

This video is a presentation of what he's made and the odd demonstration of the music he can play. There is a follow up video that shows him playing 'Spellbound' - a game I think I featured on our 80s music special cast.

One to subscribe to in my opinion as I hope he'll publish some more performances down the line. I may not be able to resist featuring them in future episodes :-)

Nice find!!! iv seen other experiments with the two bit sound, but only on small keyboards. never on an organ.
