I really love both shows, I've laughed harder at Family Guy, but I think I'll go with Futurama. It's harder for Family Guy to keep things original(especially since it's going into season 9), which is why it's stale at times.. But Futurama can basically do anything, so it's still fresh.

Futurama, to me, is basically The Simpsons, but more random.
Considering I haven't found The Simpsons to be funny in years, I have to go the Family Guy.

Family Guy has never made me cry like Futurama has. The episode where Fry tried to find his seven leaf clover, shit gets me every time.

I have watched more Family Guy over the years buy Futurama is always a more satisfying show to watch. If I had to be stuck in a room with one for the rest of my life it would be Futurama.
(Dr.Zoidberg is still the worst)

I never found that Futurama that funny compared to Family Guy...I find Family Guy bloody hilarious compared to Futurama but I would still go with Futurama because I like the setting, storylines and general character depth more. Futurama never seemed that funny to me...

But I would choose Family Guy, because I would watch both of them because they are comedies, and if a comedy can't make you laugh, it sucks.

Some things don't make people laugh...no reason one the show regardless. I never saw Futurama as a comdey and just a animated show...it was just compelling to watch...it did not make me laugh but I enjoyed the show nonetheless. It did not make me laugh but it was a greater show than Family Guy by far. Maybe because...it has an overarcing storyline, characters with a backstory that would fill more than a paragraph on a sheet of paper and characters that you will never forget as well as a a great background and amusing personalities wherever you look. Family Guy is very confined, very repetative and the characters have little to no background. Famiy Guy is funny...but worse than Futurama. Simplez.

I hate family guy so much, I watch everything on adult swim (except Look Around You because that shits weak) and i still cant believe that this is on every night, i always change it when this show is on, on the other hand, i like Futurama not only for its real story and its original comedy, Futurama has made me laugh, it has made me cry, its a great show.
