If you ever need a AA battery in a hurry but can only locate a crappy old useless AAA, just try it with a little tinfoil. All you have to do is use a tin foil ball as the buffer on the negative end and the battery works just like it should. I haven't tried this little gem out, but leave a comment if you do.
Now I need to find a way to convert the power the other direction. I never have any AAA's.
